KIDN-AM

KIDN was the 1350 AM Pueblo identity from 1976 until 1988, succeeding KKAM in the long lineage of the facility that began as KGHF in 1928.

During the KIDN era the station carried country and related full-service programming. A 1986 aircheck preserved by the Buddy Johnson family documents KIDN carrying an Ace Ball Radio Show tribute to Pueblo entertainer Buddy Johnson shortly after Johnson’s death.

The station became KRYT in 1988 and returned to the KGHF calls in 1989.

Facility lineage: KGHF → KKAM → KIDN → KRYT → KGHF → KDZA → KCCY → KBPL → KDZA → KUBE.
