Stacy Lynn

Stacy Lynn is an on-air personality credited with an evening show on KSNN, 103.7 The River in the Montrose area, in Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) results.

This is a short stub. The CBA pages give the shows and projects but no bio or career dates, and Stacy Lynn is a common enough name that we are keeping this to what the credits show. If you know more of the story, send it in with the suggestion form.

Evenings on KSNN

In the CBA’s 2019 small-market results, a show simply called Stacy Lynn is listed as an evening show and as a station personality. If you were listening on the Western Slope after dinner, that’s the slot.

Public service and promotion

In 2020 the credit turns up on Three Little Things, a public service announcement on KSNN and again on sister station KKXK, 94 Kix Country, both shared with D.J. Roberts. A KSNN promotion called Monday Morning Mugging carries the name that year too.

Wayne Johnson

Wayne Johnson is the owner and general manager of Media Logic Radio, a Colorado group whose stations cover Sterling, Fort Morgan, Wray and Yuma, including KRDZ and KSRX.

Media Logic Radio

The Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) describes him as owning and operating Media Logic Radio since 2002, starting as an AM/FM combination and now a seven-station group with four FM and three AM signals. The CBA says he began as a part-time play-by-play broadcaster for a group of stations in Garden City, Kansas, and bought his first radio station in 1996. If you listen to Bob FM or Hometown Radio 1400 on the northeast plains, this is the company behind them. Two of his daughters work with him, and he hopes to let them take over day-to-day operations over the next several years.

On the CBA board

He has served for many years on the CBA board. His own name also appears in CBA credits for the morning show On The Mike in the Mornings on KRDZ in 2019, the Bobstock Music Festival on KSRX in 2021 with Melissa Edson and Lindsey Bruntz, and the Media Logic Radio website in 2024.

Terry West is a voice of the Heart of the Rockies Radio group in Salida and the Upper Arkansas Valley. If you’ve listened to the afternoon show on 92.3 The Peak (KVRH-FM), heard promos for 102.9 The Valley (KGKG), or woken up to mornings on Eagle Country (KBVC-FM) in Buena Vista, you’ve heard Terry’s work.

One group, four stations

KWUZ-FM is “Hippie Radio 97.5,” the oldies station. KBVC is “Eagle Country” at 104.1 in Buena Vista, a country station that covers Chaffee County high school sports and local news. KGKG carries 1980s hits as “The Valley 102.9” on 1340 AM and an FM translator; the AM began on the air in 1948 as KVRH, the first station on the air in the Upper Arkansas Valley, and took the KGKG calls in 2017.

Afternoons, then mornings

From 2019 through 2021 the CBA credits Terry for Afternoons with Terry West on The Peak. By 2023 the credits show Eagle Country 104 Mornings with Terry West on KBVC, and a 2022 podcast called Daily Show 2 Go with Terry West. Terry’s name also turns up on promos and imaging for The Valley, on the group’s website, heartoftherockiesradio.com, and on community projects such as a Pet of the Week feature, a Drive-By Food Drive, a Great Pumpkin Giveaway and a holiday shopping expo with a Christmas cash giveaway. There’s also a podcast called Fantastic Realms, credited with Dave Haynes.

This is a short page built from published award credits, station information and a local news item. We have not found a published bio, so Terry’s background, start date and current role are not listed. If you worked with Terry or have more to add, we’d love to hear from you.

Starting out in Sterling

According to NJC’s athletics site, he graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2004 and started that year at KSTC and KNNG in Sterling, covering high school sports. He called his first NJC broadcast, a basketball game at Lamar Community College, on Feb. 4, 2009, and became the full-time NJC voice during the 2009 baseball season.

KPMX and the NJC games

In 2013 he moved to KPMX in Sterling, where he continued calling NJC games, mostly on 94.5 The Ranch, and helped with high school coverage. On Feb. 4, 2020, exactly eleven years after his first game, he called his 1,000th NJC event.

Shelby Taylor-Thorn

Shelby Taylor-Thorn is credited on promotions, shows and ads for Townsquare Media’s Fort Collins stations, KMAX (94.3 The X) and KTRR (Retro 102.5), in Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) results.

94.3 The X

In 2019 the CBA credited the name on three KMAX entries: the station-sponsored event Taste of Fort Collins (with Evan Harrison), the entertainment program X-Posed (with Emily Mashak), and the 943thex.com website (with Jacob Laxen). If you were a rock fan in Northern Colorado when the station called itself 94.3 The X, that’s the era.

Retro 102.5

In 2021 a Retro 102.5 commercial for Swan Heating & Air was credited to Madi Scuggs and Shelby Taylor-Thorne, the spelling the CBA used that year.

Scott Roberts

Scott Roberts is the Media Logic Sports Network Director for Media Logic Radio, the group behind stations in Sterling, Fort Morgan, Wray and Yuma, including KFTM and KSRX.

This is a short stub. The title comes from Media Logic’s own staff page; the CBA credits are matched to the Media Logic stations but don’t spell out the job. If you know more of the story, send it in with the suggestion form.

Sports on northeast Colorado radio

If you follow high school sports on the plains of northeast Colorado, this is the network that brings the games and the talk to you. The CBA credits from 2020 point to Morgan Sports Talk on KFTM in Fort Morgan. In 2024 and 2025 the Media Logic Sports Network appears in the CBA’s digital and social media results, on KSRX and KATR, the latter with Lindsey Bruntz credited in 2024. D.J. Roberts

D.J. Roberts is credited in 2020 as an on-air personality and production voice around Montrose, on KSNN-FM (“103.7 The River”), KKXK-FM (“94 KIX Country”) and KUBC-AM. If you had a radio on in the Montrose and Delta area that year, the afternoon show, the imaging and a few of the ads you heard may well have been D.J.’s work.

Afternoons, evenings and production

The Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) 2020 results credit D.J. Roberts with the afternoon show on 103.7 The River, a KIX Country on-air contest called the Snacker Bowl, imaging for both The River and 94 KIX Country, the KUBC Gold Evenings show, and a Phelanie’s Speakeasy commercial, a public service announcement called Three Little Things and a Monday Morning Mugging promotion, several of them shared with colleagues such as Stacy Lynn, Lane Seymour and Tony Driskill. The CBA lists the name as “D.J. Roberts” and “DJ Roberts.”

KSNN is 103.7 FM, licensed to Ridgway and serving the Montrose and Delta areas, and it took the River name in July 2018. KKXK is 94.1 FM in Montrose, the “94 Kix Country” station. KSNN, KKXK and KUBC are sister stations, now part of Townsquare Media.
