KCCY was the call sign used from April 2012 to January 2018 on Pueblo’s 1350 AM facility. This AM record is separate from KCCY-FM 96.9, although the familiar country call letters connected the two identities in the market.
KCCY era
The station changed from KDZA to KCCY on April 3, 2012. Ten days later it moved from sports to classic country. On May 22, 2013, the station returned to sports as “Fox Sports 1350,” while retaining the KCCY calls.
What followed
The station became KBPL on January 16, 2018, then returned to KDZA one week later. In 2022 the same 1350 facility took the KUBE call sign.
